Terminal 1 or Terminal 2? The Destination of Your Flight Matters
Prague Airport's two principal passenger terminals are divided according to the type of international journey.

The modern trolleybus replaced the former 119 bus route in 2024. For passengers travelling light and comfortable with a transfer between services, this is a strong and economical option.
Bus 100 Connects with Metro Line B
Another useful route is bus 100, which connects the airport with Zličín in approximately 18 minutes.
At Zličín, passengers can continue using Metro Line B. Which public transport route makes most sense therefore depends on where in Prague the journey actually ends.
This is an important distinction: there is no single public transport route that is automatically best for every Prague address.
Going to Prague Main Railway Station? There Is a Direct Airport Express
Passengers continuing their journey by train have another useful alternative. The Airport Express provides a direct connection between Prague Airport and Praha hlavní nádraží, Prague's main railway station.
The airport gives an approximate journey time of 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The service also provides additional space for larger baggage.
Regular Prague public transport tickets are not valid on the Airport Express. If the railway station itself is your destination, this direct service may be more convenient than combining trolleybus and metro.
When Public Transport Makes Excellent Sense
Prague has an extensive public transport system. If you are travelling alone with light luggage and your accommodation is conveniently reached from Metro Line A or B, using the airport's regular public transport connections can be an excellent choice.
Tickets for regular public transport must be purchased before boarding. Ticket machines are available in both terminal arrival halls and directly at the airport bus stops.
